THANKSGIVING TURKEY AND GROCERIES
More than 200 Harlem Heights families are provided a Thanksgiving turkey and groceries, as well as prepared turkey dinners for elderly shut-ins. A donation of $40 can provide a family with a turkey and all the trimmings.

CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE
The Heights Foundation believes that every child should experience the joy and excitement of finding presents under their tree on Christmas morning. The "Giving Tree" distributes hundreds of donated gifts to families during the holiday season.

FAMILY EMERGENCY BENEVOLENCE FUND
The fund provides families with emergency resources to help them through a short-term crisis.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING
During a church outreach to the Harlem Heights community in November 1999, we met a family living in abject poverty. Six children, their mother and father, had "fallen through the cracks." The alarming living conditions and dearth was the catalyst for the formation of the Heights Foundation. The Foundation is now in the development process to bring more affordable housing to Heights Families .
